Our Summer Schedule (July and August) is structured differently from the rest of the year. Please check the Schedule for most recent changes. The Healing Experience 1st meeting of every month What is healing? Where does healing energy come from? How does healing energy affect the subject and the healer? Is it dangerous? What types of healing are available? Do both the healer and the subject have to be physically located in the same area? Can anyone be a healer? The Healing Experience is an opportunity for all those interested in aspects of healing to investigate, discuss and demonstrate various healing tecniques. All participants become involved whether beginners or experienced healers and everyone works towards developing or refining their own healing abilities. Occasionally various members with prior experience will be called upon to explain their tecniques and demonstrate their methods. Questions are encouraged in order to facilitate a fuller understanding of healing aspects. Healings may be given by the individual or group and extended to either the individual, group, national or planetary levels. Meditation (guided imagery) is often used to center, align, balance, unify and project healing energies. Developing Intuitive Skills 2nd meeting of every month In order to be more receptive to our spiritual environment we must first be aware. Developing Intuitive Skills will help to awaken our everyday perceptions to the reality of Spirit. Our physical senses each have a spiritual counterpart and these spirit senses will be developed and used to more fully explore our reality. Guest Speakers 3rd meeting of every month Our guest speakers class is designed to bring different perspectives and talents to the group depending on circumstances and availability. Guest speakers may be current or former members of the group, associates, or those that we believe will have a unique and positive impact. Recent guests to the Center have been Ellie Fristensky (Internationally known Channeler, Medium, former President and Founder), Robert Brown (Internationally known Medium), Rick Statler (Intuitive Chiropractor) Jayne Rhodes & Christine Guardiano (Medicine Wheel, Intuitives), Stephanie Weitz (Astrologer, Intuitive) Mervyn and Mia Johnson (Internationally known Trance Healer/Medium, Psychic Artist/Intuitive) George Dickson and Maria Fix (Researcher and Intuitive) and Elizabeth Fioretti (Past Life Regressions, Astrologer, Numerologist, 3rd degree Reiki). Spiritual Philosophy 4th meeting of every month Spiritual Philosophy attempts to create a foundation in order to clarify spiritual concepts; Who and what are we? Why are we here? What is our relationship with ALL THAT IS? What is the reason for the existance of pain, suffering, love, etc...? Does reincarnation exist? Is there more to Reality than just the physical universe? What is the difference between religion and spirituality, soul and spirit, spirit and matter, good and evil, Why does evil exist? etc... The presentation of this class is drawn from a wide range of sources. From religions (buddhism, christianity, hinduism) to science (general physics, astronomy, quantum mechanics) to philosophies (dao, theosophy, ageless wisdom) and ancient civilizations and cultures (Egypt, China, Atlantis), we will explore aspects of spiritual reality. Each session starts with a progressing central theme (reincarnation, karma, spiritual dimensions) and offers perspectives intended to assist the individual in spiritual evolution. Concepts and ideas are introduced and questions and answers are explored. A spiritual foundation is built, session by session, that the participant may find usefull in answering their own questions about Life, Love and ALL THAT IS. ????? 5th Meeting On the occassion of a fith Monday we may present a group discussion, an impromptu class or a guest speaker. At times these are planned sessions and others are intentionally left unplanned so that Spirit may suggest itself to the group. |
