Happy New
Year!
Welcome to 2002. Lots of changes
here at the Love Center. First, we've simplified our schedule.
There will be only one class per evening, for a while, and every 1st
Monday will be a Healing Circle. We're also introducing a class
based on the channeled material that you've seen in this
newsletter. Second, the Center now has its own website (see site
address above). We'll be able to post a
large variety of material there that we wouldn't otherwise be
able to

present. Third, we are
now
e-mailing newsletters (big surprise to those reading this in their e-
mail programs right now).
Fourth, we have an e-mail address so you can contact us and
share your ideas (thelovecenter@hotmail.com). Fifth, we'll be
getting everyone involved, whether its in
our classes

or running the center
in general. And Sixth, we've
had a change of leadership. After seven years of service, Alice Sperl
and Pat McGuire have stepped down as president and vice president.
During some of the most difficult years of the centers history, Alice
and Pat held the Center together when

people just
stopped
showing up. On many occasions
they wondered if it was worth keeping the Center open, especially
when they were sometimes the only ones here. This went on for months,
but slowly things turned around and people started returning again.
It was only the faith that Alice and Pat had in the power of the
Center to change peoples lives that allowed them to continue, even
when everyone else said that it was over. Well, it wasn't, and
they worked hard to build it up again. Now, many years and much
effort later, it's time for a well-deserved rest. Pat and Alice
are undoubtedly looking forward to a few relaxing evenings here. So
who's going to step into the leadership roles? Dottie Krug
(former president of the Center) will bring her years of experience
to the VP position and Glen Hazell (Dottie's former VP) will be
the new president. That's not all the changes,
but there's no room here to list the rest.
See you Monday nights.
